Change is good

Sometimes you just have to admit to your mistakes!

I’m embarrassed to say that I have turned into my Old Auntie.

You know the one.

The one that you talked about behind her back.

About how she watched too much news on TV.

How she was becoming afraid of her own shadow.

How I would NEVER watch all the shows that she does because if I did I would NEVER leave my house.

Well.

It happened.

Somehow, I got all wrapped up in world news and now I am totally addicted to watching TV,  particularly from 6:00 am to 7:00 am and then from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and if you ask me:

“Hey, did you hear that….blah, blah, blah?” chances are, I probably did!

Chances are also pretty good that I know the names of all of the key players in world politics.

And do you know what else? I’m getting to the stage that I NEVER want to leave my house!

OMG!

How did this happen?
Well, today, while enjoying my morning workout I decided to watch a few videos on cooking.

And do you know what happened?

Something WONDERFUL!

This little old Italian man with a really thick accent showed me how to make “Chicken Saltimbocca” ( look it up)…it was easy and delicious.

He told stories, drank wine and even sang a song during his 12 minute tutorial, which is all it took to both instruct and make this recipe.

And do you know what happened?

I laughed!

I laughed and laughed and got in the mood to go to my kitchen and drink wine and dance instead of wringing my hands in front of the TV.

You know that saying CHANGE IS GOOD! Well, I agree!

You should try it sometime…;.)
